Description

This grilled chicken is marinated in a sweet and tangy pineapple sauce, perfect for summer barbecues.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Chicken Breasts
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Pineapple Juice
  • 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
  • Optional Pineapple Slices (for grilling)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, pineapple juice, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, and black pepper to make a marinade.
  2. Soak the chicken breasts in the marinade for at least 30 minutes, preferably longer for more flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat (375°F or 190°C).
  4. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or bake for 25-30 minutes until done (internal temperature of 165°F or 75°C).
  5. If using, grill pineapple slices for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  6. Serve the chicken topped with grilled pineapple and drizzle with any leftover marinade.

Notes

  • For best flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
  • Use fresh pineapple for grilling for added taste.
