- 4 Chicken Breasts
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Pineapple Juice
- 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
- Optional Pineapple Slices (for grilling)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, pineapple juice, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, and black pepper to make a marinade.
- Soak the chicken breasts in the marinade for at least 30 minutes, preferably longer for more flavor.
- Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat (375°F or 190°C).
- Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or bake for 25-30 minutes until done (internal temperature of 165°F or 75°C).
- If using, grill pineapple slices for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Serve the chicken topped with grilled pineapple and drizzle with any leftover marinade.
