A delicious and creamy banana pudding made with cottage cheese, instant vanilla pudding, and fresh bananas.

- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 1 (3 oz / 96 g) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 3–4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped topping (optional, for extra creaminess)
- Vanilla wafer cookies (optional, for layering)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together pudding mix and cold milk until smooth. Let sit 5 minutes to thicken.
- In another bowl, stir cottage cheese with vanilla extract until creamy.
- Gently fold the pudding into the cottage cheese mixture. Add whipped topping if using.
- In a serving dish or individual cups, layer banana slices, pudding-cottage cheese mixture, and vanilla wafers (if using). Repeat layers as desired.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.
Notes
- This pudding is best served chilled.
- For added texture, consider using crushed vanilla wafer cookies as a layer.
