- 9 sheets lasagna noodles
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- salt – to taste
- black pepper – to taste
- fresh parsley – for garnish
- 1/2 cup sour cream, for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
– Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). - Cook the Noodles:
– In a large pot, cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. - Prepare the Creamy Mixture:
– In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, cream cheese, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy. - Layer the Lasagna:
– Spread a thin layer of the creamy mixture on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
– Place a layer of lasagna noodles over the creamy mixture.
– Spread more creamy mixture over the noodles, followed by a layer of shredded cheddar cheese.
– Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of cheese on top. - Add Parmesan Cheese:
– Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top of the final cheese layer. - Bake the Lasagna:
– Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
– Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown. - Garnish and Serve:
– Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
– Top with sour cream and fresh parsley before serving.

- For added flavor, consider adding a pinch of nutmeg to the creamy mixture.
- Use freshly grated cheese for the best melting quality.
