Description
A delicious creamy pasta dish featuring ground beef, small pasta shells, and rich flavors.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups small pasta shells
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- to taste salt and pepper
- for garnish fresh parsley
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Add diced onions and minced garlic, cooking until the beef is browned and the onions are soft.
- Stir in the pasta shells along with the beef broth. Bring everything to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and let it simmer for about 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente.
- Once the pasta is cooked, remove the lid and stir in the heavy cream, shredded cheese, Italian seasoning, and season with salt and pepper. Stir until combined and the cheese is melted, creating a rich, creamy sauce.
- If desired, sprinkle fresh parsley on top for a burst of color and flavor. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
- For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
- Opt for low-sodium beef broth if preferred.
- Fresh garlic enhances flavor.
- For added flavor, use fresh herbs if available.
