Description
This grilled flank steak is marinated in a flavorful mixture, making it tender and delicious.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lbs flank steak
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, honey, minced garlic, and black pepper until well combined.
- If desired, add chili flakes for extra heat.
- Place the flank steak in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (overnight is best).
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (400°F or 200°C).
- Remove the steak from the marinade and let excess liquid drip off. Grill each side for about 5-7 minutes for medium-rare doneness.
- Allow the steak to rest on a cutting board for at least 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
Notes
- For best results, marinate the steak overnight.
- Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the steak and your preferred doneness.
