This one-pot spaghetti dish combines ground beef with vegetables and seasonings for a quick and hearty meal.

- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef or turkey
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 (14 oz / 410 g) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz / 225 g) tomato sauce
- 2 cups beef or chicken broth
- 8 oz (225 g) spaghetti, broken in half
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- Optional toppings: chopped cilantro, sliced jalapeños, sour cream
Instructions
- In a large skillet or pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and broth. Bring to a simmer.
- Stir in broken spaghetti and cover. Cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
- Sprinkle cheese on top, cover, and let melt for 2–3 minutes.
- Serve hot with optional toppings like cilantro, jalapeños, or sour cream.
