Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and peel the sweet potatoes. Cut them into 1-inch cubes for even cooking.
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, ground cinnamon, ground cumin, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Add the sweet potato cubes to the bowl and toss them until they are evenly coated with the spice mixture.
- Arrange the spiced sweet potato cubes on a baking sheet in a single layer to ensure even roasting.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the sweet potatoes for a caramelized finish.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for 25-30 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes are tender and slightly crispy on the edges. Stir halfway through cooking to ensure even roasting.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
