Description

A delicious appetizer featuring broiled rye bread topped with a savory mixture of Parmesan, mayonnaise, and onion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/3 cup Parmesan, Grated
  • 3/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup Onion, Grated
  • Dash of Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 (1 lb) loaf Cocktail Rye Bread
  • Paprika

Instructions

  1. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Beat together grated Parmesan, mayonnaise, grated onion, and a dash of Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Spread thin layer over a piece of the bread and place on prepared pan. Repeat until spread is gone.
  4. Place in the oven and broil for 3-5 minutes, or until spread is golden brown and the bread is toasted.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle with paprika.
