- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 8 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 20 oz frozen hashbrowns, thawed and patted dry
Instructions
- Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add softened cream cheese to the skillet and stir until well combined. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and spread the hashbrowns evenly.
- Add the sausage and cream cheese mixture on top of the hashbrowns.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the casserole.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese across the top.
- Bake at 375°F for 35–40 minutes or until eggs are set and top is golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving.
