Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion (diced)
  • 2 carrots (chopped)
  • 2 celery stalks (chopped)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 28 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 14 oz tomato sauce
  • 0 cup chicken broth
  • 0 cup milk or cream
  • 1 lb pasta

Instructions

  1. Sauté onion, carrots, and celery in olive oil until softened.
  2. Add garlic and tomato paste and cook briefly.
  3. Transfer vegetables to slow cooker and add tomatoes, broth, seasoning, and bay leaf.
  4. Add chicken and cook on low for 6–7 hours.
  5. Shred chicken and return to sauce.
  6. Stir in milk or cream and cook 15 minutes longer.
  7. Cook pasta separately and serve with sauce.
