Description

This sweet and salty Chex mix is perfect for any celebration!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Cheerios cereal
  • 2 cups rice Chex cereal
  • 1 ½ cups peanuts (salted is delicious)
  • 2 cups pretzel pieces (I like rods & snaps)
  • 3 cups Valentine’s M&M’s (or red, pink, and white candy, divided)
  • 12 oz. white chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In a very large bowl, add Cheerios, rice Chex, peanuts, pretzels, and 2 cups Valentine’s M&M’s. Stir to mix well.
  3. Melt white chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second increments, stirring in between heating. Cook until smooth.
  4. Pour white chocolate over the dry mix, scraping in every last bit. Stir and fold until well coated.
  5. Pour the Chex mix onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading into an even layer. Sprinkle 1 cup Valentine’s M&M’s over the melted white chocolate.
  6. Place sheet in the refrigerator for 10-20 minutes, until firm. Break into pieces and enjoy!
