Delicious cheesy bites filled with broccoli, perfect for appetizers or snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare Broccoli: Blanch broccoli florets in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until tender. Cool under cold water and chop finely.
  2. Make Cheese Mixture: In a bowl, combine chopped broccoli, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and cream cheese. Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until smooth and fully combined.
  3. Form Balls: Take a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a small ball. Repeat until all mixture is used.
  4. Coat the Bites: Place the flour in a shallow dish. In another dish, place the beaten eggs. In the third dish, add the breadcrumbs. Roll each ball in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Fry: Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the balls in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Notes
