Description

A delicious pizza featuring a rich ricotta base, topped with mozzarella, provolone, Parmesan, and turkey ham, finished with fresh arugula.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ball pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded provolone cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 46 slices turkey ham
  • Fresh arugula (optional, for topping)
  • Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it heats. This ensures a perfectly crisp bottom.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll or stretch your pizza dough into a 12-inch circle. If the dough resists stretching, let it rest for 10 minutes, then try again. Place it on a pizza peel, parchment paper, or a baking sheet.
  3. In a small skillet, warm the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30–60 seconds until fragrant—don’t let it brown. This garlic-infused oil will become the base layer of flavor.
  4. Mix the ricotta with a pinch of salt and pepper, then spread it over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust. Spoon the garlic oil evenly across the ricotta layer.
  5. Sprinkle the mozzarella, provolone, and Parmesan over the ricotta. Each cheese adds its own personality—mozzarella brings the melt, provolone the depth, and Parmesan that nutty sharpness.
  6. Tear the turkey ham into bite-sized pieces and scatter them over the top. As the pizza bakes, they’ll curl slightly and crisp around the edges, adding texture and flavor.
  7. Transfer the pizza to the hot oven and bake for 10–13 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling and slightly browned.
  8. Remove from the oven and, if desired, top with fresh arugula and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes. Slice and enjoy while warm—the contrast of the hot cheese and cool greens is pure magic.

Notes

  • This pizza can be customized with different toppings such as vegetables or different meats.
  • For a spicier kick, increase the amount of red pepper flakes to taste.
