Description
A delicious sweet syrup made with water, sweeteners, and extracts.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sweetener (1/2 cup monk fruit & 1/2 cup golden monk fruit)
- 2 tbsp pure maple syrup (optional)
- 2 – 2 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 – 1/2 tsp almond extract
Instructions
- Combine the water, sweetener, and maple syrup (if using) in a small saucepan.
- Bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, let it simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Stir in the vanilla and almond extracts.
- Taste the syrup and adjust the extracts as desired.
- Let the mixture cool completely.
- Pour into a glass jar or bottle and store in the fridge for up to two weeks.
Notes
- Use more or less almond extract based on your preference for almond flavor.
