Cranberry White Chocolate Cookies

Description

Delicious cranberry and white chocolate cookies that are perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ¼ cups all purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup white granulated sugar
  • 3 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted and warm)
  • 1 egg (room temperature)
  • 1 Tbsp heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup powdered sugar (for rolling cookie balls)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350℉ and line the cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place sugar and cream cheese in a large bowl. Pour warm butter over sugar and cream cheese and whisk vigorously until all combined and smooth.
  3. Add egg and heavy cream, whisk well.
  4. Add flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Mix with rubber spatula until completely combined. Fold in cranberries and white chocolate chips.
  5. Form 1-inch balls and coat them in powdered sugar. (Use a cookie scoop to get even cookies. I use #40 cookie scoop, which is 1½ Tbsp.)
  6. Place the cookies on the baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 11 to 13 minutes.

  • Make sure the butter is warm but not hot to avoid cooking the egg.
